Donovan Harper is a man of many hats. Harper balances auditioning with full-time job coaching and caretaking for the special needs community. On the weekdays, Harper works with his client Kester by taking him to school, volunteering at the local church and visiting the library. On the weekends, Harper thrives on stage where he is able to channel his passion for justice in an effort to not only entertain the audience, but challenge them to think differently.

“It’s like food and drink for an actor to look at something, to read something that goes – oh my goodness – I thought this before in my life,” said Harper. “I couldn’t write it down, but now I can actually express it loud and bold to to to to a bunch of people and hope they get the point.”
