For the Hendersonville High School Bearcats, football is more than just a sport; it’s a family. Through the team’s love of the sport, teammates and coaches alike have created inseparable bonds that last on and off the field. The relationships created during intense practices and Friday night games establish a support system for players to lean on in all aspects of life. Head coach Kirron Ward, former player Eric Rasheed, current running back/linebacker TJ Lattimore, and the rest of the team facilitate a sense of family that they lean on during times of tragedies. During their ten days of spring practice, the Hendersonville Bearcats prepare for the 2023 season as the team navigates through an unfathomable loss.
