Project Description

Apples to Llamas

Uredo Agada

Allie Rae (Allie) Justice will be a seventh generation apple farmer when she inherits D&M Orchards, where 100-year-old apple trees planted by her many times great-grandfather are still harvested. Allie loves agriculture and began raising llamas when she was eight. After a particularly bad apple season, Allie spearheaded innovation that brought the Justice family into a new era of farming by establishing Ellaberry Llama Farm in 2017. The Justice family currently owns 25 llamas and one alpaca. Many of the llamas are prize winning and all of them love pets and treats. Donna Justice, Allie’s mother, helps Allie tell this story of family, farming, and llamas.

The family land, it keeps family together
