Born and raised in Lake Gaston, Adam Fields inherited his love for water sports from his parents. When he was a teenager, wakeboarding emerged as a new spin off from skiing. Adam immediately fell in love with the “big air” and big tricks of this new sport, and left skiing behind. From there, he moved to Orlando and won the 2009 IWWF World Championship and the 2011 BroStock championship. Adam’s passion for wakeboarding motivates him to build the sport, prompting him to move back to his hometown to open his school, AF Wake. For 15 years, Adam has taught thousands of students from all around the world, passing along his love for the “big air” acrobats of wakeboarding.
