Since 2004, the Carolina Photojournalism Workshop (CPJW) has brought a group of multimedia students and professional journalists and faculty from the University of North Carolina to unique locations to produce a documentary website in a week. Students immerse themselves in the lives of the area’s people and work 24/7 on a video production that gets publicly screened on the final night. These stories, found here and on CPJW’s main site, provide an intimate cultural record of North Carolina people and places for the public.
