Leanna Moore is a 29-year-old Mooresville, N.C. native with spinal muscular atrophy. She doesn’t let her disability limit what she can accomplish, taking on leadership roles in the various communities that she’s a part of. She works at “Down for Doughnuts,” a donut shop that hires individuals with disabilities. Owner David Cooper describes her as “the glue” that holds the place together. However, Leanna has an alternate side to her that most would never guess from the ordering window.
