Linda Beaulieu, Assistant Editor for the Montgomery Herald in Troy NC was told by her doctors that she had cancer, and should expect to live 3-6 months. She recovered against the odds, and her cancer is now in remission, and she found out from the experience that the community she served on the paper was there to support her in her time of need.
