2015 Rooted in the Rapids

Joe Tabron loves flowers but he loves his community more. He has run a small flower shop named “J’s Florist” in Littleton, N.C. for over four decades. He was an alcoholic in his 20s. When he was dying from alcoholism and lying on a hospital bed, he made a vow to God that if he could get a second chance, he would do something different. Since then, he has offered flowers and compassion to those who need it the most in his community.
