Highlands has only one public school for all grades from Kindergarten to Senior High. Having such a diverse range of ages gives the Highlands School a unique atmosphere where older students mentor younger ones and entire families of faculty and staff parents and students can be found in the same building. Walking into the building on any given day, one is struck by the sense of respect and the happiness of the place. The school is a piece that makes highlands such a unique place.
