Henry Lambert, 71, is the world’s most photographed Indian. An Eastern Band Cherokee Indian, he has posed for pictures in imitation Cherokee regalia since 1950. “All of America has my picture,” he says. “I’ve been on every major television network in the world, including BBC in Europe.”
“I do this for a living, not for the authenticity of it. If I wanted to be authentic I’d stay home and not pose for pictures.”
