Dave Linn, 30, is an accomplished and competitive tri-athlete. As a personal trainer at Franklin Health and Fitness Center, Linn works with people who are trying to live healthy and physically fit lifestyles. Despite the fact that Linn was diagnosed with left-side Cerebral palsy at birth, he has overcome many obstacles to get to where he is. In 1993 Linn was severely injured in a car accident and had to receive an artificial hip replacement and rod in his good side. After Linn recovered from the accident he weighed 210 pounds. “I knew I had to change my life,” said Linn. He moved to Franklin and began rehabbing and working out at the Franklin Health and Fitness Center. Being athletic helps loosen Linn’s muscles and prevents the negative long term effects of Cerebral palsy.
